Lentil, Mushroom, Spinach & Spicy Nut Roulade

Mouthwatering Vegan Recipes For Thanksgiving

This is a recipe (originally created for Xmas & Festive times) designed and created for the more ‘purist’ type of vegan palette  – those that don’t like fake meat, for whatever reason.  Delicious, moist, with a wonderful texture, aroma and flavour packed into one impressive dish, it makes the perfect Sunday Roast (and much loved by non-vegans too, see comments below) – here it is, with a hint of spice (omit if you wish).  Enjoy the exotic flavours, and let me know how it goes for you, as and when, folks Lentil, Mushroom, Spinach & Spicy Nut Roulade

Panch Puren & Caramel Vegetable Curry

Mouthwatering Vegan Recipes For Thanksgiving

In part this curry is influenced by a secret technique my mother used to implement, I am so grateful to be making use of it, and to now be sharing it with you all. Cumin, Fenugreek, Mustard, Fennel and Kalonji come together to yield the most amazing and ‘easy to make of’ curries that I’ve created as a treat for tonight’s dinner for my little girl and for my partner. I have also created this as a gift to all of my blog and book supporters, celebrating hitting 100,000 followers on my MWV Facebook page. I suggest eating this with naan, or any other flat bread of your choice. It should have a warning tag on it saying MORE-ISH, pace your eating. Panch Puren & Caramel Vegetable Curry

My Mum’s Secret Beefless Finger Licking Stew

Slide1

My Greek mother used to make many different stews – all were rich, and full of colour and flavour.  This is based on one she made, which I have veganized, and given it my mouthwatering vegan touch.  It came out beautiful, luscious, warming, hearty and so very, very delicious – I never get an impulse to lick the plate clean, instead I let some Italian bread do that for me.  You will love this !  Oh, and it’s very child friendly – I can vouch for that from my childhood memories, and my daughter’s love of this dish !  Enjoy !

Vegan Raw Chocolate-Carob Swiss Roll Roly Poly Log

With Thanksgiving round the corner, it’s time to start getting cosy round the hearth, and reach out for the comfort foods – without getting to comfy round the girth, I hope ! This is a totally irresistible chocolate log, though I chose to use carob in this instance, which I thoroughly recommend because of its amazing flavour when incorporated in this way. It’s another of those raw desserts that’s right up there, rubbing shoulders with the best of the classic favourites. Nutritious, wonderfully delicious, and completely satisfying. So here goes . . .
