- 1 pound extra firm reduced-fat water-packed tofu, drained and cut into cubes (Of course use tofu that you have if you have no supplier for tofu mentioned above)
- <1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon dark sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice
- Put your tofu on several layers of heavy-duty paper towels and cover it also. Leave it like that for about 10 minutes and just occasionally press it with your hands. Heat the cooking pan add oil add tofu saute it for about 7 minutes or until it’s browned. When the tofu is fluffy and browned place it in some bowl. Drizzle with soy sauce and vinegar; toss gently to coat. Cover it and chill at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Serve at room temperature with toothpicks.
Triple Berry Tofu Smoothie
Everyone loves smoothie, especially if they are full of fruits and tasty like this one. Try this and kid would live it. (we recommend this for breakfast)
- 2 cups berries (fresh or frozen – blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries)
- 1 banana
- 1 cup silken tofu
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup i
- As almost every smoothie just blend ingredients together until smooth and creamy and serve immediately.
Grilled Tofu With Vegetables
This is treat for kids
- Soy sauce
- Peanut butter
- Peanut oil
- Chili garlic sauce – optional
- Drain the tofu and wrap it in some paper towels. Press it for at least 15 minutes and reheat the oven grill.Add garlic, soy sauce, honey, peanut butter and peanut oil to a food processor and blend. Once the mix is smooth, add the chili garlic sauce and chopped cilantro and churn again.Cut the tofu into cubes. Take a bowl place the tofu cubes and add the garlic mix along with the seasoning. Let the tofu marinate for an hour.Now take the tofu and place it on a skewer alternating with tomato and onion cubes. Place them on the grill and cook until it turns golden brown.Use the leftover marinade as a sauce.
